Identity verification for new staff.
This page is for people who have accepted a written offer from Borderless Limited or one of its operating companies. Your HR contact sends you this link together with your agreement.
We never ask for identity documents before you have a signed offer. If you were sent here without one, stop and email hr@borderless.limited.
What we ask for
- 01A government-issued photo ID: passport, national ID card or driver's license. Front and back where the back carries information.
- 02Your legal name, date of birth, nationality, residential address, phone number and the email you will use for work.
Why we ask
To confirm you are who you say you are, to meet our legal and tax obligations in Hong Kong and in the country you work from, and to set up your agreement and your payments. Payment details are collected separately through the payment platform, not on this form.
How your documents are handled
- Your files are encrypted in transit and stored encrypted.
- Only the director and the HR function of Borderless Limited can open submissions.
- Your documents are not shared with anyone outside the group, except where the law requires it or where a payroll or payment provider needs them to pay you.
- If your onboarding does not go ahead, your submission is deleted within 30 days.
- If you join, your documents are kept for the length of your engagement plus the retention period the law requires, then deleted.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing hr@borderless.limited.
This statement is provided under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Supplying the information above is a condition of employment or engagement with the group.
